Halloween is once again upon us, and with it comes one of my favorite exchanges of the year. I love the Halloween theme, I love the low minimum requirement and the treating that encourages, and I love the people. So if you're reading this, thank you both for your interest in creating for me and for helping to make this exchange so much fun.
Now that the gushing is out of the way, let's get to the useful information.

I really enjoy the way this series handles slice of life fantasy. The overarching storylines tend to be dark, but life keeps happening around them. This game in particular also has such a good atmosphere. The subtle sense that something is wrong that lingers over the city even as more light-hearted things are happening works so well. And I'm a sucker for the way that individual characters got to grow and change with relatively little interference from the protagonist. It felt like they had lives that started before the protagonist arrived and would continue after they died.
In terms of relationships, I enjoy Yukari/Mitsuru and Akihiko/Shinjiro as romantic ships. The friendship between Akihiko and Mitsuru is also excellent. Or something with all of SEES a la their New Year’s shrine visit could be fun, or the original SEES trio before everything goes wrong, or you could ignore most of them to focus on one specific character. I'm good with just about any configuration here.
A quick note: I'm most used to referring to the protagonist as Minako, but I'm okay with pretty much any name for her.
Prompts:
In-depth looks at status effects
A character's first Dark Hour
Facing a P4-style Shadow self
The day after Nyx
Yukari teaching Mitsuru about Halloween
Metis's existence in the Abyss of Time before the Answer
Akihiko and Shinji at the orphanage
Minako convincing the team to wear dumb costumes
Aigis making friends at school

I really enjoy the way this series handles slice of life fantasy. The overarching storylines tend to be dark, but life keeps happening around them. This game in particular has such excellent character interactions, both in the main story and in the world. I love the way people show up in each other's social links or hangouts, how they clearly have friendships outside of the main character. There's a lot of potential for fic running adjacent to the game.
In terms of relationships, I enjoy Yukiko/Chie and Yosuke/the Protagonist as romantic ships. I'm also interested in the friendship between Yukiko and Kanji, or between Naoto and Rise, or really just about any two members of the team. And of course group-centric fic and fic that focuses on an individual are also excellent.
Note: I prefer Naoto being referred to with they/them pronouns, but am also fine with she/her.
Prompts:
In-depth looks at status effects
Investigating something silly
Persona abilities transferring to the real world (e.g. Yukiko not being able to burn herself while cooking)
Arcanaswap (and the resulting changes in Shadow)
Saki's first attempt to run away
Naoki tuning into the Midnight Channel, his sister's or otherwise
Kanji getting a reputation for his creations
Naoto preparing for their TV interview
Chie and Yukiko taking care of their dog
Why Chie or Yukiko use such unconventional weapons
Rise using her stardom to manipulate people, playfully or otherwise
We Know the Devil
Trick, Treat
Jupiter, Neptune, Venus
I got ridiculously attached to all three of these girls for such a short game. Their insecurities and shortcomings felt so real, and their more lighthearted interactions are a lot of fun. I also ship them in every combination, though I do have a slight preference for them as an OT3.That said, I'm more than fine with side-stepping shipping entirely to focus on their platonic interactions or on them as individuals.
Prompts:
Why they got sent to camp
Generic summer camp activities with a supernatural twist
A more in-depth look at how magic works in this universe
Life after one of the non-True endings
Jupiter's relationship with her dad
Neptune's mysterious coughing illness
Venus getting to show off her radio skills
Mob Psycho 100
Trick
Ritsu Kageyama
Two of my favorite character tropes are complicated but loyal sibling relationships and characters using competence to mask deep insecurity. Basically, as soon as Ritsu got a scene to himself I knew he was going to be my favorite character. I enjoy genuine angst for him, but he’s also a middle schooler, so anything about him having to deal with the day-to-day indignities of life I will likely find hilarious. And of course he deserves happiness and I’d love to see him get it, or at least get closer to it. I don’t really ship him with anyone, though, so I’d prefer gen for this canon.
Prompts:
Sturggling to get his powers under control/manifesting new powers
Somehow ending up in the Mogami world
Facing an evil spirit on his own
Intentionally triggering a 100%
Dangan Ronpa (Original Continuity)

Sayaka Maizono, Kyouko Kirigiri, Mukuro Ikusaba, Peko Pekoyama, Natsumi Kuzuryu
Getting everyone through the DRV3 bonus board game let me rediscover everything I love about all the characters. They’re all so ridiculous and over-the-top, and it’s great. In general, I’m a huge fan of things to do with characters’ talents or the day to day life at Hope’s Peak. Give me everyone worrying about practical exams or trying (and failing) to balance school with their careers. I’m also totally up for non-despair/non-Hope’s Peak AUs, if that’s what you’d like to do. Let them be happy for a change.
If you're interested in shipping for this canon, I'd generally prefer femslash, and am willing to read just about any combination of girls as long as it doesn't go against my DNWs. I also very much enjoy gen, so if shipping doesn't fit into your plans, definitely don't feel obliged.
Prompts:
Talentswap AUs
Bonus mode shenanigans
Expanding on FTEs
The missing years (Despair, trapped in Hope's Peak)
Natsumi taking Komaru's place in Ultra Despair Girls
Sayaka's murder plan succeeding
Mukuro on Junko's TDP route (are they both just attending as Junko?)
Kyouko's work with the Future Foundation
Peko trying to convince Sonia she's not a ninja (see this anthology strip: http://mangakakalot.com/chapter/danganronpa_1_2_comic_anthology_2/chapter_13)
New Dangan Ronpa V3

I really enjoy this comic's take on magical girls. It's bright and colorful and flashy enough to appeal to my inner child, but willing to dive into the darker elements that arise if you think about the standard magical girl tropes for more than a few minutes. At the same time, though, it's still generally upbeat, and the characters aren't constantly grim and gritty. It strikes a great balance, and I love it. (Even if it did get me attached to all of Team Alchemical before promptly killing most of them off.)
Prompts:
Finding more inventive ways to use her powers
Spending time with her siblings
The early days of Team Alchemical
Death not being the end for magical girls
